Online video service (OTT) Wave will broadcast the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games live online.

On the 16th, Wave announced that it would secure online broadcasting rights for the Tokyo Olympics and provide a live broadcasting service for the Tokyo Olympics to be held from the 23rd to August 8th.

Any wave user can watch live broadcasts of terrestrial broadcasting channels (KBS1, KBS2, MBC, SBS), video-on-demand (VOD) replays of major games, and game highlight videos.

To this end, Wave will prepare a special page for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics that collects live broadcasts and highlights, as well as related contents such as sports entertainment and dramas.

On the Olympic page, there will be a corner where you can collect real-time broadcast channels and clip videos, as well as sports entertainment, drama, and movie programs owned by Wave. Entertainment, documentary, and interview programs featuring Olympic athletes are also provided.

“We have secured broadcasting rights so that users can enjoy the Olympics conveniently,” said Choi Choi, Wave’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
