In the 2022 PBA Team League Draft held at the Press Center in Seoul on the 16th, Welcome Savings Bank selected Oh Soo-jung as the first pick in the 4th round.
Welcome Savings Bank initially bundled all six players who played on the team last season as protection players.
However, when Cha Yoo-ram joined the people’s power on the 13th, there was a sudden vacancy.
Cha Yoo-ram will serve as a special assistant in the local election campaign and support campaigns and public relations.
Welcome Savings Bank, who heard the news of Cha Yoo-ram’s entry into politics just before the draft, plans to minimize the power gap with Oh Su-jeong.

Oh Su-jeong’s husband is Shin Ki-woong (40), who was promoted to the PBA Tour (part 1) this season from the Dream Tour (Part 2) last season.
About Su-jeong Oh, the ‘professional billiards couple’s second player’, Park said, “My husband is also playing on the first tour this time, so the couple will work harder to prepare.”
After finishing 3rd in the Huons Tournament on the 3rd tour last season, Sujeong Oh is a strong player who took the 6th place in the women’s division by winning the runner-up in the 5th Tour Ever Collagen Tournament.
A PBA official said, “Oh Su-jeong is a former national cyclist, and has good physical ability and power.”
Meanwhile, Ngo Dinh Nai and Ma Min Kam, both from Vietnam, joined SK Rent-a-Car Winners and NH Nonghyup Card Green Force, respectively, with 1st and 2nd overall in the PBA Team League Draft.
A total of 15 players were selected in the draft, including 10 PBA players and 5 LPBA players.
The eight teams, which have completed their composition, are scheduled to begin full-scale quenching in time for the opening of the team league in early July.
