Wemade-UTplus, Wemix MOU signed – ZDNet korea

Wemade (CEO Jang Hyeon-guk) announced on the 23rd that it had agreed to onboard the metaverse platform ‘Ditoland’ of Utplus Interactive (CEO Taeyeon Yoo, hereinafter referred to as Utplus) to the Wemix platform and signed an MOU.

Since its establishment in 2006, Utplus has introduced various games such as MMORPG ‘Talion’ and mobile action RPG ‘Shadow Blood’. Recently, it has been drawing attention from the industry by developing and servicing the global UCC metaverse platform ‘Ditoland’.

‘Ditoland’ provides a tool that allows users to create and share content on their own. Users can distribute their own games to enjoy with friends and generate profits. It is used as a platform for events and education of various institutions and organizations as well as game contents, and recently opened ‘Pleasure Land’, a metaverse space to commemorate tvN’s 15th anniversary, and gained great popularity.

Wemade and UT Plus signed an MOU.

In particular, this onboarding will introduce a metaverse service that allows users to directly create content on the Wemix platform.

Wemade CEO Jang Hyeon-guk said, “Wemade has been very interested in D.Toland and has already invested in Utplus in April of this year. I look forward to it,” he said.

WeMade announced its goal to service 100 games using the Wemix token as the key currency on the Wemix platform by the end of next year.
