Social media was abuzz last week with potential ICE activity in the state. The county authorities of Morgantown and Monongalia confirmed that the federal agency had made them aware of operations in the area.
Officials from these local law enforcement agencies said that they did not help with the operations.
The ICE representative said that last week the agency was carrying out “targeted targeted enforcement operations” in the Morgantown area.
The total number of catches from these operations remains unknown.
