American actor Wei Smith issued a statement apologizing to the actor and comedian Chris Rock for slapping the presenter at the Oscars.
Westsmith said it was embarrassing to publicly apologize to Chris Rock, admit that he was wrong, that his actions crossed the line, and that his actions were not the person he wanted to be.
At the 94th Academy Awards yesterday, Wesmith rushed to the stage and beat the other party because Chris Rock made fun of his wife’s bald head look, and then returned to his seat and then scolded the other party with foul language. Westsmith later won his first Oscar for Best Actor in “A Family of Kings”, and once apologized for the incident, but did not apologize to Chris Rock.
