What is the $ 1,200 rents in Detroit now

Welcome to the installment of this week's Foot Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain amount of dollars in different Detroit neighborhoods. This week we are looking at rents at or around $ 1200.

West Village

The apartment has no one bed, one-bath, less than a few blocks that wears off all the new shops in the Western Village on Agnes and Kercheval. There are also more modern facilities than most of the apartments outside the urban core.

But some of the artistic features on the outside and in the high-rise lobbying from the 1920s are really spectacular, such as stone columns, ceiling tiles, and elaborate carving on the wooden panels.

1000 Van Dyke Street is rented for $ 1,195 per month.

Midtown

When it was built for ten years ago, Studio One Apartments was one of the first modern mixed-use, mixed-use buildings. There are all modern apartment facilities, including an on-site gym. And while it may be a little steeper per square foot than the other places on this list, it is difficult to strike the right position on Woodward.

Studio One offers several floor plans starting at $ 1,273 per month.

The north

This single, two bedroom bath is in a recently refurbished duplex. At 1,200 square feet, the unit is spacious and in the vicinity is getting closer in a hurry. Everything has been updated – including new plumbing, electrical and heating systems – as well as refurbished floors. We also love the wood molding in the dining room.

9429 Street # 1A Brush rented for $ 1,300 per month.

Russell Woods

This 1924 colony was significantly revised (take our word – we saw the “before” photographs). It has 1,142 square feet, three bedrooms, and everything is new there: kitchen, bathrooms with tiles, tiles, and basement. There is also a Florida room and a two-car garage.

The Glendalough Road is being let at $ 1,250.

Midtown

This 680-foot, one-bed, one-bed unit is housed in a brick and stone apartment building called “The Trenton.” It has recently been renovated and is repaired with hardwood flooring and new cabinets and appliances. It also includes on-site parking but is within walking distance to everything in Midtown.

676 $ 1,150 is rented by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
