Bangalore: A loud noise was reported again near Bangalore in Karnataka. It is learned that the noise was heard between 11.50 am and 12.15 am. Authorities said they could not identify the source of the noise. Residents of areas including Bidadi in Bengaluru had reported hearing loud noises in the city this morning. Bidadi is the center of quarries.

This is not the first time such an incident has been reported in Bengaluru. There were reports of such noises in May last year and in July this year. Police said there were no explosions in the vicinity. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center said no sound or earthquake-like noise was recorded on the surveillance equipment. People from Hemmigepura, Kengeri, Jnanabharathi, Rajeshwari Nagar and Kaggalipura areas reported the mysterious noise, the disaster monitoring center said.
