Wheein confesses the reason for not renewing Mamamoo’s contract… Hwasa, “Sorry for not being able to take care of Wheein”

Group Mamamoo’s Wheein revealed why she did not choose to renew her contract.

In Wave’s original Mamamoo four-part series ‘MMM_Where are we now’, which was released on the 25th, Wheein explained the reason why she decided to leave the agency she had been with for 7 years.

Although Wheein usually does not reveal her inner feelings well, through this documentary, she confided freely about the feelings and changes she has felt in the 7th year of the devil. In an interview conducted before and after his contract renewal, Wheein said, “I think ‘refresh’ is absolutely necessary for me now.”

He added, “I have a desire to go to a new environment, and I think it’s the most important thing. It’s like a family where you can understand your thoughts even if you don’t talk to the members, but I don’t want to share my hard feelings with you.”

Member Hwasa, who has been best friends with Wheein since school days, showed her affection for Wheein more than anyone else. Hwasa said, “Wheein and I don’t even need to say hello, and he is someone I can rely on just for their existence. I couldn’t take it,” he said sorry.

Solar and Moonbyul also drew attention by sharing their candid feelings about Wheein’s failure to renew the contract and the team’s slump that came in the 7th year of group activities.

Meanwhile, Wave’s original ‘MMM_Where are we now’ is a four-part (120 minutes) documentary about the 7-year process from the debut of Mamamoo, Korea’s most talented girl group to the top, and the growing pains of the members.
