Ex-member Chris (Chinese name Wu Yipan, 吳亦凡), a former member of the idol group EXO, who is accused of sexually assaulting minors, has been revealed to have committed crimes against young Chinese students in the United States.
Foreign media such as Chinese media Chinese in LA borrowed the argument of Wang Jing, a Chinese lawyer who is active in the United States on the 10th and said, “A Chinese student living in Los Angeles, USA, said, ‘A Chinese student living in Los Angeles (LA) said, ‘When I was a minor, Chris He claimed that he had been sexually assaulted.”
According to lawyer Wang Jing, the two first met at a fan meeting in Los Angeles in 2016. At the time, the two exchanged social media accounts on Weixin (微信) to keep in touch. At the time, A was a minor under the age of 18.
Mr. A told Lawyer Wang, “I attended a party at the invitation of Chris.” He also claimed, “I saw white pills coming and going at the party and I drank a lot and lost my mind.” He said, “When I woke up, Chris was lying on the bed,” he said.
Some Chinese portal sites such as Tencent also claim that Chris confiscated Mr. A’s cell phone because he was reluctant to leak party photos.
It is said that Mr. A recently visited Lawyer Wang, confessed this fact, and expressed his intention to file a lawsuit against Chris.
Attorney Wang said there could be other victims related to Chris and urged other victims to join the lawsuit.
Chris was arrested and imprisoned by Chinese public security authorities on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. The incident ignited when Dumeizhou first revealed the sexual assault case of Chris in an interview with local media in mid-February. Chris initially denied the allegations. Afterwards, during the investigation process, it was confirmed that he had sex with Mr. Doo, and the controversy grew as 24 women claimed the damage.
