When patients come to dementia together, often no place goes just a state psychic ward

In Kansas, the State Department of Adult and Disability Services and the Alzheimer's Society were in partnership to create a Kansas Dementia Bridge Project, which provides crisis support to dementia patients and seeks to avoid hospitals at all costs. Coordinators work with families to provide direct support, counseling and advocacy in crisis situations at home, hospital, doctor's office or during transfers to facilities.
