Bangalore: Virat Kohli will not be the captain of RCB in the 15th season of IPL. He made it clear last season that he was stepping down as captain. Kohli also stepped down as captain of the RCB following the resignation of the Indian T20 team captain. Former team coach Daniel Vettori has revealed who will lead the RCB to replace Kohli in the 15th season.
In addition to Kohli, Vettori has suggested that Glenn Maxwell, the Australian who retained the Bangalore team for next season, should be the captain. Vettori pointed out that he could retain players who could be in front of a captain and that he had the experience to lead the Melbourne Stars in the BBL before Maxwell. In his opinion, the former Kiwis captain also suggested that Maxie should be Kohli’s successor.
