The ‘Kim Seong-jae case’, which was not revealed in ‘I want to know’, is expected to be revealed due to the request for a temporary injunction to ban broadcasting.
As a result of OSEN’s comment on the 22nd, it seems that Bae Jeong-hoon PD will release content related to the Kim Seong-jae case on the OTT platform together with the writer who worked with ‘Gal’. According to PD Bae Jeong-hoon, the broadcast was planned for three episodes, but the OTT platform and programming plan have not been decided yet.
Previously, SBS’s ‘I want to know’ was scheduled to be broadcast in connection with the death of Kim Seong-jae on August 3, 2019, but the deceased’s ex-boyfriend A filed an injunction to ban broadcasting, and the court accepted that and not being able to broadcast. Afterwards, it was announced that it would be broadcast again on December 21 of the same year, but the second request to ban broadcasting was accepted and also failed.
However, there has been an increase in the number of cases of producing and broadcasting events that were difficult to appear on terrestrial channels, mainly on OTT platforms. As a result, some viewers asked if it could be broadcast on the OTT platform in relation to the case of Kim Seong-jae from ‘Gal’, played by PD Bae Jeong-hoon.
On the other hand, PD Bae Jeong-hoon directed SBS’s ‘I want to know’ and ‘While You’re Hugging’, and has now released ‘National Investigation Headquarters’ via the OTT platform wave. /cykim@osen.co.kr
