Williams F1 has announced that Jack Aitken will be appointed for the first free practice session at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Jack Aitken has been a reserve driver for Williams since 2022 and made his F1 debut at last year’s F1 Sakhir Grand Prix in place of George Russell from Mercedes.

Jack Aitken will be the second Williams tester to sample the Williams FW43B, following Roy Nissany, who made three FP1 races early in the season.
