YG Entertainment announced on the 18th that WINNER (Kang Seung-yoon, Lee Seung-hoon, Song Min-ho, Kim Jin-woo) had agreed to a five-year contract renewal.

According to the agency, WINNER members decided to take their own course early in order to repay the love of their fans. The day before, on the 7th anniversary of their debut, they agreed to renew their contract after a long time at YG’s new headquarters in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul.

Winner said through his agency, “I want to say that I respect the Inner Circle (fandom name) who has always been by our side. Thanks to you, we exist today. A music journey without a destination, I want to share more memories with you in the future.”

WINNER appeared on the survival program ‘WIN: Who Is Next’, which aired in 2013, and won the team name, ‘WINNER’. The following year, on August 17, 2014, they debuted with their first full-length album ‘2014 S/S’.

Currently, members Kim Jin-woo and Lee Seung-hoon are performing their military duties and are taking a break from team activities. Kang Seung-yoon and Song Min-ho are currently active in various fields such as acting, entertainment, and art, as well as solo album activities, respectively.
