Worldview fans did not give up their affection for the series.

Movie ‘Witch Part2. The Other One’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘The Witch 2’) topped the box office for three days in a row despite mixed reviews, surpassing 1 million audiences within four days of its release.

According to the Film Promotion Committee’s integrated computer network for movie theater tickets, ‘Witch 2’ mobilized 1 million 11 cumulative audiences at 6:05 pm on the 18th, the fourth day of its release. On the morning of the 19th, the cumulative number of viewers was 1,098,129.

This is a result of the loyal selection of the audience who have been waiting for the ‘Witch’ series for a long time, with a record two days ahead of the 1 million mark of the previous work ‘The Witch’. It is the 4th among Korean films released this year and the 8th among all the films that have been released this year.

‘Witch 2’ is an action movie that depicts what happens as forces chasing her for different purposes gather in front of a girl who survives alone in a devastated secret research lab and comes out of the world.

After its release, it has been rated as a ‘movie that must come out with 3’, but it is also true that ‘The Witch 2’ itself received less favorable reviews compared to ‘The Witch’, which announced its sensational appearance. As both the director and actors emphasized that “‘Witch 2’ needs to do well, ‘Witch 3’ can come out,” ‘Witch 2’, which significantly lowered the break-even point of theaters through overseas sales, not only enjoyed the success of the box office but also produced ‘Witch 3’. It remains to be seen whether it can be started.
