With the martyrs in their memory: a scent of heaven and a whiff of eternity

Our righteous martyrs assured us of the truthfulness of the noble verse: Do not think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead, but rather they are alive with their Lord, being provided for. Here they are really moving among us, and here is their thought creating life in our people who refuse to forget them for a moment, and here are the tyrants seeking to contain this and prevent it from turning into a flood that uproots their feeble regime, and hastens the end of their black reign. Here we are, after more than forty years, remembering the first martyrs of the Islamic movement. Everyone remembers the name of Jamil al-Ali, who was killed by the Khalifahs in May 1980, less than ten days after his arrest. More than one generation has been born since that time, but his memory refuses to diminish or fade. Following his path, the martyrs of the eighties followed him: Karim al-Habashi, Sheikh Jamal al-Asfoor, Muhammad Hassan Madan, and Radhi Mahdi Ibrahim, Dr. Ismail al-Alawi. This constellation of martyrs was the conquerors of the stage that lasted for four consecutive decades, punctuated by many tragedies and more criminality. This criminality has reached its climax until all ties linking the Khalifis with the Bahrainis have been severed. No one can accept the rule of the gang that committed countless crimes. Among these crimes is the escalation of arbitrary arrest crimes, which amounted to thousands during the uprising of the blessed nineties, and after the outbreak of the revolution of February 14, 2011, followed by crimes of systematic torture that did not stop until this moment, and executions, the last of which was in 2019. What heart can forget what the Khalifahs committed? Is there anyone who believes that they can reform their rule and stop their crimes? It has been confirmed to all of us that it is impossible to reform their situation, and the Holy Qur’an confirms this: “God does not reform the work of corruptors.” and the Hans

The memory of the Bahraini martyrs is renewed every year, by recalling their exploits, stances, steadfastness and humanity. Each time, the ugliness of the savage Khalifi rule, which continues to devour the bodies of Bahrainis, is also renewed. Is there stronger evidence for that than the bodies of the martyrs whose lives were taken by the tyrant and his gang after dismembering their bodies with criminal torture tools? Is there clearer evidence than what the world witnessed of unprecedented brutality that was evident on the bodies of the martyr Karim Fakhrawi, Ali Saqr, Ali Jassim Makki, Zakaria Al-Ashiri and Abdul Rasul Al-Hujairi? Is there a greater ugliness and brutality than the current tyrant’s decision to execute the martyrs Sami Mushaima and Ali Al-Singace? And after them Ali Al-Arab and Ahmed Al-Malali? How horrible are the Caliphs, starting with their tyrant who was defeated by the Bahrainis with their steadfastness, and challenged by their pieces that he tore with hatred and savagery, so each of them cheered his downfall and prayed to God to end this black era in the country’s history. This is not new, as not a decade has passed since the middle of the last century without the fall of martyrs among the indigenous Bahrainis (Shiites and Sunnis). And how many mothers whose lives the Caliphs destroyed by taking the lives of their children. Is there suffering, grief, sorrow, or pain more severe than the loss of a child?

From here, the people, men and women, stop on Martyrs’ Day to recover their pain. Without sensing the pain, the patient does not take the initiative to seek treatment. Without evoking the crimes of the tyrant and his gang, human rights are lost and the machine continues to harvest lives. Yesterday nearly forty heroes were liberated From the abhorrent Khalifi families, after that Most of them have finished prison sentences imposed on them by the Khalifahs. And each of these epic full of pains and groans. Each of them is an encyclopedia of torture that speaks of darkness, and is not diminished by the individual’s liberation from the chains of dependence. The testimony of each of them is sufficient to incriminate the criminal Al-Khalifi house for committing crimes against humanity, especially as their executioners remain outside the framework of the law and prosecution. The Khalifis imposed a policy of impunity to protect their slaves who carry out their orders to dismember the Bahrainis. Each of them has an encyclopedia that speaks of pain and darkness, its lines starting from the first moments of arrest and continuing with the torture columns, especially in the basement of the Khalifi Security Service building, which employs only those who enjoy eating human flesh. These people have lost their humanity, so they enjoy hearing the groans of young men and children as they hang like sacrifices, receiving the blows of whips that wriggle on their backs and stomachs without humanity or pity. How many of those who lost their lives under the scalpels of executioners, and how many of those who lost their eyes through torture or rubber bullets and live ammunition fired by the Khalifi monsters. All of them participated in the attempt to massacre the entire people, but God saved him from their livers and kept him to fight the coming fateful battles to liberate his land from the tyrant’s defilement, especially after the Zionists brought in his help to break the power of the Bahrainis.

On the eve of the great Martyrs’ Day, the heroes of Al-Mayadeen renew their pledge to those who lost their lives in the malevolent Khalifah slaughterhouses, only for Khaled Rashid Al-Khalifa to honor his father, the Minister of Interior, in recognition of his efforts in oppression and torture. The two have proven their alienation from humanity, and so do youor To the world of the jungle and its laws. It was an ugly act, especially because it coincided with the liberation of a number of prisoners and the brutal torture to which each of them became clear. Hence, it is necessary to encourage those liberated from enemy prisons to start documenting their suffering in detail before some of its details are erased from memory. It is true that they emerged from the ranks of torture, but documenting their suffering will be useful in the measures that human rights activists will take to ensure that the torturers are prosecuted, especially the great al-Khalifa figures who approved torture as a means of oppressing Bahrainis decades ago and never stopped practicing it. Future generations have a right upon us, by working as much as possible to end the suffering of the homeland and the people and stop the ugly mistreatment that led in hundreds of cases to the victims losing their lives and their ascension to their Lord as patient and hopeful martyrs. As long as the Khalifahs are rulers, the convoys of martyrs and victims of torture, abuse, persecution, withdrawal of nationality and deportation from the homeland will not end.

And the divine will willed that the departure of the scholar and fighter, Sheikh Abd al-Amir al-Jamri, coincide with the Feast of the Martyrs. He was a witness and a martyr to the struggle of a people whose rulers were poisoned by the evil of torment, so he persevered and did a good job, until God chose him to be next to him. Sheikh Al-Jamri was a teacher in intellectual, religious and political giving, and left behind a journey full of struggle, joint work, clarity of vision and position. He was present in the official political work since 1873 when he won membership in the National Assembly, and was subjected to abuse in the eighties, and worked within the framework of the popular petition at the beginning of 1990s, then within the initiative committee in the second half of the 1990s. After the Al-Khalifa coup against the constitution on February 14, 2002, he said his famous speech about their ill-fated constitution: This is not the constitution that we fought for. Thus, the insight of Sheikh Al-Jamri and the depth of his insight become clear. May God have mercy on him and dwell him in his spacious paradise, and blessed him in the highest places.

In this era, we pray to God that Sheikh Abd al-Amir al-Jamri rewards the people with the best reward, and that he has mercy on the righteous martyrs who sacrificed their most precious possessions for the sake of the homeland, freedom, truth and Islam. And let us all stand on their auspicious feast, to record the greatest appreciation and respect for them, and let us pray to God Almighty to grant them their supreme position in a seat of truth with Malik Muqtadir.

Oh God, have mercy on our martyrsRighteous, and make for them a foothold of truth with You, and loosen the bonds of our captives, O Lord of the worlds
