Wolverhampton Hwang Hee-chan “Jogging to recover from injury”


Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton Wanderers, photo), who was excluded from the battle due to a hamstring injury, started running.

Hwang Hee-chan told Wolverhampton’s SNS on the morning of the 21st (Korean time). In the 15-second video, Hwang Hee-chan said, “I have recovered a lot from my injuries, so I started jogging and I am training hard. I will come back with a better image. Thank you so much for your support.”

Hwang Hee-chan injured his hamstring in the English Premier League (EPL) away match against Brighton & Hove Albion on the 16th of last month and was substituted in the 16th minute of the first half, and is concentrating on treatment and rehabilitation. According to Wolverhampton, Hwang Hee-chan is expected to return next month.

Hwang Hee-chan joined the team training last week and is improving his physical condition by doing light exercise such as jogging.
