Thailand: A woman has been arrested for trying to bring down two painting workers from the 26th floor of a multi-storey apartment complex. The woman tried to endanger the two by cutting the safety rope. The media quoted police as saying that the young woman had cut the safety rope because she was angry at not being informed in advance about working in front of her apartment. The Associated Press reported that the couple, both residents of the same complex, were spotted and rescued.
The woman was arrested following the incident and a case of attempted murder has been registered, Pakistani Colonel Pongjak Preechakarunpong told reporters. The woman initially denied the allegations. But he later pleaded guilty when questioned by police with detailed evidence, including fingerprints.
