Tiger Woods (47, USA), the ‘golf king’, once again raised expectations for his participation in the first major tournament Masters Tournament of the season.

Sports Illustrated (SI) reported on the 30th (Korean time) that Woods and his son Charlie arrived at Augusta National GC, where the Masters was held this morning. The US Golf Channel reported that Woods plans to play a practice round in Augusta, citing an unnamed source. Woods announced last month that he would attend the Champions Dinner, and was open to the possibility of participating in the event event, the Par 3 Contest.

Woods has not competed on the PGA Tour since he suffered a car accident that required multiple surgeries on his right leg in February last year. Nevertheless, expectations for Woods’ participation in the Masters are growing because he has not yet revealed his intention to not participate in the tournament. The Masters guarantees lifetime entry to past winners and there is no deadline.

Woods and his son, Charlie, took their first official steps after an accident at the PNC Championship, an event competition, with their son Charlie at the end of last year. He collaborated with his son Charlie for a 10 under par on the first day and a whopping 15 under par on the last day to the extent that the fact that he suffered a crisis that almost had his leg amputated, aroused admiration that he was “the emperor after all”.

On the 17th of last month, I participated in the Genesis Invitational as a tournament host. At a press conference, he said, “I play golf every day,” and said, “I don’t have enough long games such as driving distance.”
