Woori Bank is hiring about 50 new employees in the IT sector in the second half of this year.

Woori Bank announced on the 21st that it will carry out ‘recruitment of new employees in the IT sector in the first half of 2022’ to select talented people in the IT sector who will lead the future financial market.

This is the second recruitment following 100 general positions at the beginning of this year, and the number of recruits is 50. In order to recruit talents with development capabilities, IT-related majors (including vocational high schools), holders of related certifications, and those who have completed major IT boot camps such as Samsung Youth Software Academy (SSAFY) are preferentially hired.

In particular, in this recruitment, job competency is evaluated through the ‘IT Insight Interview’ consisting of a portfolio interview and a PT interview, and the basic knowledge that financial professionals must have is evaluated through the ‘In-depth personality interview’. In addition, the final selected personnel will be dispatched to Woori FIS, an IT affiliate of the group, for a certain period of time to train them as core development personnel, and will be assigned to the digital/IT related departments of Woori Bank after the dispatch period is over.
