World Cup: Jeddah Municipality with big screens to watch Saudi games | Qatar World Cup Sidelights

Jeddah ∙ To support the Saudi national team participating in the World Cup in Qatar, Jeddah Municipality has announced that it has established an opportunity to watch a live broadcast of the World Cup matches on large screens in various locations around the city. Majeed Bin Omar Al Solami, Director General of Community Services in the Municipality, said that Jeddah Municipality has done many activities to support the Saudi national team.


Many entertainment shows like fireworks, face painting corner etc. are organized for those who come to watch the games. Al Solami said residents and visitors to Jeddah will be able to watch matches throughout the city. He added that screens to broadcast the games will be installed at the Municipality Headquarters Building, King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Abraq Al Ragama, Prince Majeed Park, Tahlia Park, Central Cornish Park, Tahlia Avenue, Al Rehab Avenue, Al Yamama Avenue , Al Fayha Avenue, Taiba Avenue and many others.

The Saudi national team is in Group C, which includes Argentina, Mexico and Poland. Tomorrow (22nd) the Green Falcons will face Argentina in their first game. He will play against Poland on the 26th. On the 30th, they will face Mexico in the final match of the first round.
