[World Now_영상] Plane crash due to ‘million hits’?

A man is driving a light airplane.

He was driving excitedly, and the propeller stopped and he said that suddenly something went wrong with the plane.

He was parachuted ahead, opened the cockpit door and jumped out of the plane.

These scenes were recorded intact by several cameras installed on the plane.

A man named Jacob is an American Olympic snowboarder and a popular YouTuber with 130,000 subscribers.

On the 24th of last month, he uploaded a video titled ‘My plane crashed’ on YouTube and drew great attention.

The video showed him parachuting his Taylorcraft BL6 single-engine light aircraft over California and crashing into the Los Padres National Forest as he parachuted down.

In the process, the ‘GoPro’ camera attached to the tip of the airplane’s wing captured Jacob’s escape from the plane, and the plane seemed to have lost power at that time.

In the video, Jacob said, “While flying over a mountain, the engine broke down and there was no safe place to land.”

After he jumped while carrying his parachute bag, the plane descended and crashed into the woods, and Jacob took a selfie with a selfie stick before getting out of the aircraft and opening the parachute.

“That’s why I always carry a parachute,” he said as he walked to the crash site, and later claimed that a farmer he met by chance saved his life.

The video has garnered over 1 million views.

However, according to a report by the British Independent, the accident may have been fabricated.

Viewers questioned why he had bought such an old-fashioned plane.

If you look closely at the video, you can see that the plane had duct tape on the cockpit and rust on the exterior of the fuselage.

In the end, the controversy heated up as suspicions were raised that the plane may have been deliberately crashed.

Jacob blocked the comment function on the video, but some netizens questioned the authenticity of the crash video by making a separate video.

Jacob then returned to the crash site in a helicopter to dispose of the wreckage, the Independent reported.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Safety Administration are conducting a joint investigation into the recent crash of Jacob’s light plane in Los Padres National Forest, California.

He has not yet publicly expressed his position on the controversy.
