World Taekwondo Federation Demonstration Team, ‘France Got Talent’ goes straight to the finals

The World Taekwondo Federation (WT) demonstration team, which reached the final of ‘America’s Got Talent’ and announced the excellence of taekwondo, was invited to ‘France’s Got Talent’ and advanced to the final with a golden buzzer.

According to WT on the 22nd, the audition of the WT demonstration team, filmed at the André Malraux Theater in Rueille Malmaison near Paris, France on August 27th, was aired throughout France on the 20th.

A total of 19 WT demonstration teams, including 13 from Korea, including coach Dong-seong Choi, and 6 from the field, performed high-altitude kicks, restrained sword choreography, and power breaking.

When one of the four judges presses the golden buzzer, they automatically advance to the finals, while the famous French singer-songwriter Ellen Segara pressed the golden buzzer and the WT demonstration team went straight to the finals. The final will be held in France in December.

The winning prize of ‘France’s Got Talent’, which started in 2006 and is currently airing its 16th season, is 100,000 euros (about 140 million won).
