Wrong style for new leadership; Congress does not belong to culture: Sudheeran | KPCC

Thiruvananthapuram: VM Sudheeran has said that the new style of leadership of the new Congress leadership is not up to expectations. Sudheeran expressed his displeasure to AICC General Secretary Tariq Anwar. Sudheeran said there was hope when the new leadership came but they were trying to grow the groups. Tariq Anwar requested that the issues be discussed and resolved and that his resignation be withdrawn.

Sudheeran said it was not right for a few leaders to make decisions. The Congress leadership in Kerala is taking decisions that are not in line with the Congress culture. He made it clear in the discussion that he did not want any position and would continue as a normal worker. Sudheeran said in the discussion that there was no change in the decision to resign.

Sudheeran told the media that he was happy to see Tariq Anwar himself. It is hoped that the wrong steps will be corrected. Sudheeran said he was looking into whether an appropriate solution could be found. Tariq Anwar told the media that the complaints raised by Sudheeran were taken seriously and the discussion was fruitful.

Tariq Anwar also held discussions with Mullappally Ramachandran. Indications are that he expressed dissatisfaction with the decision-making process. Sudheeran resigned from the Political Affairs Committee and the AICC in protest of the negligence shown by the central and state leaderships. People close to him say he was hurt by criticism from a section of the party when he resigned from the Political Affairs Committee. There are also complaints that the DCC was not consulted before the reorganization.
