Xiaomi Global has unveiled the Xiaomi 13T Series, featuring two models: Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro. Both models have similar specifications, but what sets them apart is the collaboration with Leica to enhance the power of the rear camera.
The Xiaomi 13T Series showcases a sleek design with a distinctive rear camera module. It boasts a total of three rear cameras with Leica lenses, clearly displaying the Leica branding. The two models come in three color options: Alpine Blue, made from vegan artificial leather, along with classic Meadow Green and black.
Both models have identical display screens, featuring a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1.5K+ (2712 × 1220 pixels) and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display supports AdaptiveSync and has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and can display 68 billion colors. With a maximum screen brightness of 2,600 nits in sunlight mode, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
As for the internal chipset, the Xiaomi 13T is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra, offering 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM using UFS 3.1 technology. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13T Pro features the flagship Dimensity 9200+ chip with options for 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB or 1TB UFS 4.0 ROM. Both models share a 5,000mAh battery capacity, but the 13T supports 67W Turbo Charging while the 13T Pro supports Xiaomi 120W HyperCharge fast charging.
The highlight of the Xiaomi 13T Series is the collaboration with Leica for the rear camera system. It comprises three lenses: a 50-megapixel main lens with an aperture of f/1.9 and OIS image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with the same aperture, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. The 13T Pro model also allows for 8K@24fps video recording and 10-bit LOG video recording. Additionally, Leica has introduced two new filters exclusive to Xiaomi: Leica Sepia and original Leica Blue from the Leica M-Typ240 movie mode. The front camera has a 20-megapixel resolution.
