Xinhua News Agency issued a mocking 007 mockery film, British MI6 director cleverly responded | Intelligence | Agent

[Epoch Times January 06, 2022](Epoch Times reporter Li Yan comprehensive report) The Chinese Communist Party media Xinhua News Agency recently released a short film that mimics the role of the film and the British agent 007 James Bond, mocking the Western intelligence community’s growing attention to the threat of Beijing. Richard Moore, the head of MI6 in the United Kingdom, rarely responded, saying that he would like to thank Xinhua News Agency for its “free publicity”.

Beijing’s persecution of the Uyghur ethnic minorities in Xinjiang and the ever-increasing authoritarian rule of Hong Kong have caused Western countries, including the United Kingdom, to take increasingly tough attitudes towards the CCP.

Moore previously stated that dealing with the CCP is MI6’s “biggest priority”, and he also warned about “debt traps, data exposure, and vulnerability to political coercion” that the CCP may bring.

The CCP used the “Belt and Road” initiative to bring debt traps to the underdeveloped signatories of the world. Then, the CCP took the opportunity to squeeze preferential treatments such as port use rights from these countries.

Xinhua News Agency released a self-written and self-directed short film on Twitter and its official website on Tuesday (January 4), claiming to have dug a “leaked video” of a “secret meeting” between British and American spies.

This English short film deliberately imitated Hollywood’s latest 007 movie “007: No Time to Die” (No Time to Die), and was renamed “0.07 No Time to Die Laughing” (No Time to Die Laughing). In the film, a pair of Chinese actors and actresses played James Bond and “Black Window” respectively. The code name of Bond has also been changed from 007 to 0.07.

In the film, Bond learned during a call with an apparently CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) agent that his mobile phone had been tapped by the United States. He was warned of “backdoor” concerns and didn’t buy a mobile phone product from the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, so he used a new mobile phone gifted by the US CIA.

“It’s dangerous to be an enemy of the United States,” Bond said while drinking champagne, “but being a friend of the United States will kill you.”

Moore responded on Twitter on Thursday (January 6): “Thank you for your attention (and this unexpected free promotion!)” He also posted a link to a speech he gave in November.

In his speech, he said that the CCP tried to “use the openness of British society” and “distort global public discourse and political decision-making.”

Last year (2021), after the United States raised the issue of espionage of Huawei products and threatened national security, the United Kingdom prevented this company with a Chinese Communist background from participating in its 5G broadband construction and promotion. The Chinese Communist Party was therefore annoyed.
