[Y이슈] Billboard “BTS LA concert revenue of 39.4 billion won… The biggest box score in 10 years”

The group BTS recorded sales of 33.3 million dollars (about 39.4 billion won) through LA concerts.

On the 3rd (local time), Billboard evaluated BTS’ LA concert, saying, “The BTS left their mark at Sofai Stadium in LA during the amazing concert on the 4th that ended on the 2nd.”

According to Billboard, this LA concert’s revenue was $33.3 million. It is worth about 39.4 billion Korean Won. A total of 214,000 tickets were sold. In response, Billboard drew attention, saying, “It recorded the largest total of the Billboard box scores in about 10 years.” The Billboard Box Score is a chart that selects rankings based on sales for concerts and music festivals around the world.

On the 27th of last month, BTS held ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ at Sophie Stadium in Los Angeles, USA.

This is the first face-to-face performance in two years, and the interest of many fans has been poured out. The cheapest seat was sold for $75 and the VIP seat was sold for $450.

As the demand from fans increased, even limited-view seats were opened, and more spectators than expected filled Sofai Stadium. As a result, 53,000 seats were filled every episode, making it a spectacular sight after a long time since the pandemic.

BTS became the first solo artist to record all 4 performances sold out since the opening of Sofai Stadium, and sold the most tickets among artists who performed at Sofai Stadium.
