[Y이슈] Son Dam-bi ♥ Lee Gyu-hyuk, married after a month of dating… “I’m not pregnant before marriage” (General)

Actor Son Dam-bi and former speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk are getting married. There are speculations about a premarital pregnancy in the news of the marriage, which was delivered a month after admitting that they were dating, but both sides denied this.

On the 25th, Son Dam-bi’s agency H& Entertainment announced, “Son Dam-bi and Lee Kyu-hyuk have decided to make a 100-year marriage as a lifelong companion. The wedding will be held somewhere in Seoul on May 13.”

On this day, Lee Kyu-hyuk’s agency, IHQ, also said, “The wedding will be held privately with close relatives and acquaintances in the aftermath of Corona 19.”

The two also shared their feelings about marriage. Son Dam-bi wrote a handwritten letter on his SNS, saying, “I have a person I want to spend my life with. When we are together, we become the most me, when we are together, we laugh, and in May, I will marry the person who made me know that it is happiness.”

Lee Gyu-hyuk said to his agency, “I have a new start with a wise and caring person. I will show you a good side so that I can repay the love you have given me.”

It was December of last year that Son Dam-bi and Lee Gyu-hyuk confirmed their relationship. At the time, the two explained, “We’ve known each other as friends for a long time, and it’s been about three months since we started dating.” Since then, Son Dam-bi has continued a confident public relationship by posting “Thank you for congratulating me” on her SNS.

Son Dam-bi debuted as a singer through the single ‘Cry Eye’ in 2007 and released hit songs such as ‘Crazy’ and ‘Saturday Night’. After turning to acting in 2009, she appeared in dramas ‘Dream’ (2009), ‘What’s Wrong With Your Family’ (2014-2015), ‘Mrs. Cop 2’ (2016) and ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ (2019).

Kyu-hyuk Lee set world records in the 1000m in 1997 and 1500m in 2001. He has won four World Championships and participated in the Olympic Games six times. He was the only Korean athlete to represent the national team for more than 20 years, and retired after the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
