[뉴스웍스=오영세 기자] From November 3 to December 20, Yangpyeong-gun operates an integrated window for the convenience of applicants for loss compensation for small business owners.

Small business loss compensation is a subsidy that institutionalizes and compensates for the losses of small business owners who are experiencing financial difficulties due to strengthening social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a result, support is provided to small business owners and small businesses that have suffered serious business losses.

Accordingly, Yangpyeong-gun plans to provide an integrated window for the loss compensation system on the 2nd floor of the Yangpyeong Mulleun Market shelter (11-1 Yangpyeong Market-gil) and guide and receive information so that small business owners can apply more conveniently from the 3rd of next month.

Compensation for small business losses is calculated as ‘average daily loss × quarantine measures implementation period (days) × correction rate (80%)’ of individual businesses.

The average daily loss is calculated by multiplying the average daily sales decrease in 2021 compared to 2019, when there was no impact of COVID-19, by the sum of the operating profit rate in 2019 and the ratio of labor and rental fees to sales. The correction rate was set at 80% by the Loss Compensation Deliberation Committee of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

From the 27th, you can apply online by accessing Small Business Loss Compensation.kr (call center 1533-3300), entering your business registration number, and going through the identity verification process. Applications for visits can be made on the 2nd floor of Yangpyeong Mulleun Market Shelter from November 3rd.

If you do not agree after checking the pre-calculated compensation, or if it is difficult to calculate the compensation based only on the data held by the National Tax Service, the applicant can request a recalculation by attaching additional supporting documents.

Jeong Dong-gyun, the governor of Yangpyeong-gun, said, “For the convenience of small business owners, Yangpyeong-gun provides an integrated window to support loss compensation applications. I hope that small business owners will be compensated and overcome difficult situations,” he said.
