The awarding marks that the Beijing Yanqing Olympic Park has entered the fast lane of sustainable utilization of the Winter Olympics heritage. It will take more than a month to rapidly promote the transformation from “competition area” to “scenic area”. Beijing Enterprises Group said that after completing the Winter Olympics guarantee task, it will continue to help the construction and development of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports Cultural Tourism Belt, build the Yanqing competition area into an ice and snow tourism resort, and plan the post-Olympic story.

After the park opens, it will provide citizens with an authentic Winter Olympic experience. The Beijing News reporter learned that the park covers the National Alpine Ski Center, the National Snowmobile and Sled Center, the Yanqing Winter Olympic Village and the Volkswagen Snow Field. Among them, the snowmobile and sled center “Snow Dragon” will open the Dragon Trail and the Winter Olympics experience, and you can visit the entire competition area on the Dragon Trail. The Alpine Ski Center will open an alpine cable car. Citizens can take a 30-minute cable car ride from the Winter Olympic Village to the top of the Yanqing Alpine Ski Center.
