Ipyeon Nam-wook “Chunhwa Dongin No. 1, Lee Jae-myung’s share”… courtroom exposure

Attorney Nam Wook, who was arrested for corruption in Daejang-dong, came to trial for the first time after being released today (21st) and presented an exposé targeting Lee Jae-myung, representative of the Democratic Party.
It was said that Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myeong at the time had a stake in Cheonhwa Dongin No. 1, which was the subject of controversy regarding the owner.

Attorney Nam Wook was released this morning because his arrest period has ended.
He immediately attended the trial on suspicion of Daejang-dong held at the Seoul Central District Court.
He kept quiet about the reporters’ questions in front of the courtroom, but when a newspaper started the prosecution in the case, he opened fire, saying that there were parts that were not told the truth at the time of the investigation.
When asked by the prosecution, Attorney Nam insisted, “I heard from Kim Man-bae that the share in Cheonhwa Dong-in No. 1, which took Daejang-dong development profits from February 2015, was the share of Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myeong at the time.”
The reason for not speaking properly during the investigation was, “There was an election at the time, I was scared, and as soon as I entered the country, I was arrested and I was busy being investigate.”
It was also explained again that Yu Dong-gyu, the former head of the Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, in 2013, handed over 300 million won.
Attorney Nam said, “Yoo’s former boss said, ‘money to give to a higher person’ and ‘brothers, brothers,’ and I knew that Jeong Jin-ganu, head of the political affairs coordination office, and Kim Yong, deputy director of the Institute for Democratic Research.”
He also claimed to have distributed money to Mayor Lee during the 2014 local elections.
Attorney Nam said, “I received about 2.25 billion won between April and September 2014 from Mr Lee, a sales agency representative in Wirye New Town.”
Attorney Nam said of the money Mr Lee transferred, he gave 1.25 billion won to Man-bae Kim.
He also said that he knew that some of it was used as money paid to some religious groups to be used for voting.
The fact that Daejang-dong and his party raised illegal campaign funds for Lee’s re-election or supported the election campaign through a religious group was also included in the arrest warrant charges against Chief Chung.
