A large-scale disturbance occurred at the world’s largest iPhone production base, Foxconn’s Zhengzhou factory in China.

Workers who fled the factory in large numbers recently due to quarantine concerns are protesting that nothing has changed despite their return believing in the unconventional hiring conditions.

As darkness falls, countless people walk and shout.

They have poles in their hands, and some even throw iron barricades.

“Protect your rights and interests. Protect your rights and interests. Let’s go with the goods.”

This is the world’s largest iPhone production base, Foxconn’s Zhengzhou plant in China.

This is where a large number of workers escaped at the end of last month because the factory was being operated in a closed loop mode and even meals were not being provided properly while the corona was spreading.

The factory side promised unconventional bonuses to workers who returned to their hometowns and encouraged them to return, but the workers who believed this and returned protested, saying that the promise was not being kept.

Workers with fire extinguishers counterattacked the police, who fired water cannons mixed with tear gas, and the scene turned into chaos.

Some workers were injured and even bled.

Unrest continued after dawn, with police warning of punishment and urging workers to return.

“We will provide the supplies you requested immediately. Return to your lodgings immediately. Do not join the illegal elements.”

Meanwhile, in China, the violent response of quarantine agents is controversial every day.

In Ningxia, northwest China, a man who was recently classified as a close contact and was in quarantine was caught trying to sneak out, but the police response, such as twisting his arm and squeezing his neck with their knee, too much.

Earlier, in Guangdong Province, a quarantine agent was criticized for tying the hands and feet of two women and kneeling for violating quarantine regulations.
