Food and Drug Administration approves Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for infants

The early COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer can be used for infants in Korea.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced today (25th) that it has approved the imported item ‘Cominati’ of the early virus vaccine Corona 19 that Korea Pfizer Pharmaceuticals applied for.

This vaccine is for the prevention of COVID-19 in infants aged 6 months to 4 years and is given in 3 doses of 0.2mL each.

The vaccine is currently being used with conditional consent and emergency use approval in the European Union and the United States.
