Yes, it is shown in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

The second game of our football team in the World Cup group stage, against Ghana, is ahead.

As citizens continue to gather here, the enthusiasm for cheering grows.

Large screens and speakers were installed throughout the plaza.

With about an hour and a half left until the start of the game, a pre-practice is held on the stage and the cheerful atmosphere heats up.

However, it continued to rain, so most of the citizens wore raincoats, unlike the street cheering before Uruguay.

It is estimated that up to 30,000 people will gather here tonight.

Outdoor cheer games will continue in major areas in the metropolitan area such as Incheon, Suwon, and Uijeongbu.

However, as rain forecasts came out early, the cheer game was canceled in some areas.

On the 2nd of next month, the Red Devils will also hold a street cheer match for the 3rd round group stage of the Korean national football team.

It looks like it will be a cheering game in the rain.

Isn’t security management the most important thing?

How are your preparations?

[기자]

Yes, today is also the day that is exactly one month since the Itaewon disaster.

The police and local governments focus on managing safety above all else.

As a large crowd gathered, 300 police officers across the country, 14 riot police units, and special forces were also deployed to prepare for security incidents.

Here in Gwanghwamun Square, 150 police officers, 700 police officers, and 20 commandos are put under security control.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has also deployed security officers in various places to maintain order.

In addition, as news of rain spreads, we prepare for safety accidents that may occur due to slippery roads.

The time when security management is especially necessary is after the game is over.

As the procession returned all assembled at once, we decided to spread the routes out.

Depending on the situation, the police plan to disperse the crowd by blocking some of the exits of Gwanghwamun Station and encouraging them to use other stations or entrances.
