Lee Jae-myung, on suspected payment to North Korea, “I still do that with novels”

Lee Jae-myung, head of the Democratic Party of Korea, denied allegations that the Ssangbangbang Group sent $3 million to North Korea to facilitate his visit to North Korea, saying, “He still does that with novels.”

Representative Lee responded to the press report in the National Assembly that he had been briefed directly on the details of the funds for his visit to North Korea by Lee Hwa-young, who was then the peace vice governor of Gyeonggi – yes.

When asked by reporters if he couldn’t remember at all, he repeatedly replied, “Don’t do that with novels.”

Representative Lee said that the timetable for attending the prosecution for further investigation of the Daejang-dong development is being discussed.
