World Championship silver medalists’ Cha Jun-hwan and Lee Hae-in return home with ‘smiles’ to welcome them

Cha Jun-hwan and Lee Hae-in, who won the silver medal together at the World Figure Skating Championships, have returned to Korea.

Cha Jun-hwan, along with Lee Hae-in and Kim Chae-yeon, left the arrival hall and waved with a bright smile at the fans and reporters.

Cha Jun-hwan became the first Korean male athlete to win a medal at the World Championships, and Lee Hae-in reached the podium 10 years after Kim Yu-na.

As ‘Yuna Kids’ became world-class athletes, Korean figure skating reached a new peak.

Let’s listen to Cha Jun-hwan’s impressions of the tournament.

“This World Championship is another motivation for me… This is also the first cycle of the Milan Olympic Games (2026), and I think I finished the first season very satisfactorily.”
