Vocalist Kim Tae-han wins the Queen Elizabeth Competition…亞 first male

22-year-old Korean singer Kim Tae-han won the Queen Elizabeth of Belgium Competition, one of the top three classical music competitions in the world, today (4th).

This is the first case of a male singer in Asia as well as Korea since the establishment of the vocal section in this competition in 1988.

For three days from the 1st to yesterday afternoon, Kim Tae-han performed four songs on the final stage with the other 11 members.

With this award, Korea won the competition for the second consecutive year, following Choi Ha-young, who won last year’s competition held in the cello category.
