The Ministry of Environment announced today (21st) that from 6 am to 9 pm, the ultra-fine dust crisis alert level was issued in the Seoul metropolitan area and 6 regions in the Chungcheong area, and emergency reduction measures were implemented.
Eight coal power plants in Incheon and South Chungcheong Province are shut down, and the rest are reduced and operated by enforcing upper limits.
In addition, the operating hours of workplaces that emit a large amount of fine dust will be changed, and waste incineration plants, sewage treatment plants, and construction sites will also take measures to reduce emissions.
