“I missed you, BTS”… ARMYs around the world gather in LA

The concert of the global k-pop group BTS started in Los Angeles, USA.

Fans who saw BTS on stage for the first time in over two years couldn’t hide their excitement.

Correspondent Lee Kyung-hee reported on the spot.

The fans who visited the concert hall were full of anticipation that they could see the BTS performance in person.

These are the ARMYs from all over the world, not only in the United States, but also by plane and long-distance driving to see the face-to-face performance that has been resumed after more than two years.

It took 12 hours to get on the bus to the plane, but happiness prevails over tiredness.

“I arrived last night. I’m from Mexico and it took me about 12 hours to get here. I got on the bus at midnight on Thursday and after two flight transfers, I got there.”

Fans enjoyed the excitement before the performance by singing along to the songs they had gathered together holding a hand sign with the phrase they wanted to see in Korean.

“I really missed you for three years. I think I will cry a lot and I think we will be really happy when we are together. I’m very nervous and excited. I’m ready.”

“The past few years, nothing has made us happy because of Corona. But BTS has always made us happy, even in difficult times.”

In front of the merchandise store, there was a long line that could not be seen from the day before the concert.

There was a long line from dawn to prevent the desired product from being sold out early, and on the day of the performance, sales booths were additionally placed in various places, but there was no stopping people from coming to purchase.

The LA concert will be held for a total of four days on the 27th and 28th, and the 1st and 2nd of next month, and the seats accommodating more than 200,000 were sold out early as soon as the reservation started.

The reason for the transition to the era of With Corona As it was almost the first large-scale concert, he was paying special attention to quarantine.

Broadcasts guiding quarantine guidelines were continuously streamed inside and outside the concert hall, and information boards were installed everywhere.

Visitors to the venue must present a certificate of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours, and wearing a mask is mandatory throughout the performance.

With BTS’ performance that opens the era of Corona, ARMYs from all over the world enjoyed the festival in their own way despite being cautious.
