“Russia, nuclear show of force imminent… Preparing for shipment of equipment and tests in the Arctic”

The Times reports that Russia is preparing to demonstrate its readiness to use nuclear weapons through a nuclear test.

According to reports, a large freight train from the nuclear equipment division of the Russian Ministry of Defense was caught in central Russia last weekend as it moved towards the Ukrainian front.

A senior source said Russian President Putin could further demonstrate his readiness to use nuclear weapons in the Black Sea bordering southern Ukraine.

The newspaper reported that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and NATO sent relevant information to member states and allies, saying that a Russian submarine carrying the Poseidon nuclear torpedo was found to have left for the Arctic Ocean.

Italian newspaper LaRepubblica reported that tests are about to take place in the Kara Sea region of the Russian Arctic Ocean.
