Biden: ‘Armageddon risk’ to Putin’s ‘nuclear threat’

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said that the Russian nuclear threat could be a reality, saying that the world is in danger of a nuclear ‘Armageddon’ for the first time since the Cold War.

President Biden issued a warning letter to Russian President Putin, who promised to “use all means” in relation to the war in Ukraine, saying that “the risk of human extinction due to nuclear war has reached the highest level since the Cuban missile crisis in 1962.”

“I don’t think I have the ability to use a tactical weapon easily and not stay with Armageddon,” he said.

US government officials have warned that Russia could use weapons of mass destruction in the face of a recent counterattack by Ukrainian forces, and in fact, Russia has repeatedly suggested the possibility of using nuclear weapons.
