As the monsoon clouds gradually descend to the south, heavy rains of 30 to 50 mm per hour will fall in the southern regions from night on.

Heavy rain warnings have been issued for Daejeon and Sejong, as well as Gwangju and Jeju-do.

The Meteorological Administration explained that it was locally very strong and heavy rain was falling as cold, dry air from the north collided with hot, humid air from the south.

Until tomorrow, it will rain more than 150mm in Jeonnam and Jeju, more than 120mm in Jeonbuk, and 30 to 100mm more heavy rain in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeju.

Although it is raining at the end of the drought, there is concern about damage due to heavy rain from the beginning of the rainy season.

It is necessary to meticulously check the drainage holes around the house, and prepare for flooding in low-lying areas.

In particular, you should refrain from approaching places where water rises rapidly, such as valleys and rivers, as there is a high risk of safety accidents.

Most of this rain will stop in the morning, starting in the central region at dawn tomorrow, and monsoon rain is expected until night in the southern coast and Jeju Island.

From the weekend, the monsoon season will subside and the sweltering heat will prevail.

So far, it has been reported by the press.
