Yeongpyeong Bridge in Pocheon City, a tributary of Hantangang River, issues a flood advisory

As it rained heavily in the Hantangang River basin, a flood advisory was issued at the Yeongpyeong Bridge branch in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The Hangang Flood Control Center issued a flood advisory for Yeongpyeong Bridge in Pocheon City as of 6:50 PM due to heavy rain, and urged people to refrain from using the riverside.

The flood warning standard for Yeongpyeong Bridge is 5.4m, and a flood advisory is issued when the river level is 50% full.

As of 9pm, the water level at the Yeongpyeong Bridge is 3.03m.

While a heavy rain advisory has been issued for Pocheon since noon, it rained more than 100mm in one day (the 23rd) alone.
