In the process of checking the recording file of accountant Jeong Young-hak, who has been pointed out as decisive evidence of the Daejang-dong development preferential case in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, in the process of checking the recording in court, a workshop occurred over the sound quality of the recording.

At the trial of the 22nd part of the Criminal Settlement Court of the Seoul Central District Court today, at the trial of the Daejang-dong preferential treatment case, the lawyer for the former general manager Yoo Dong-gyu raised a problem with the recording file of accountant Jeong Young-hak, saying, “The content of the statement cannot be heard more than 99% by the lawyer.”

Regarding the 1-hour and 20-minute recorded file that was played back in court today, Yoo’s lawyer said, “The prosecutor claims that he can hear well through earphones, but at the moment it’s just a one-sided claim.” I asked the court to leave it on the record that I didn’t hear it.”

Kim Man-bae’s side also pointed out, “The discussion about paying bribes doesn’t sound like a sound quality problem,” and the court also said, “It is difficult for the court to understand the contents of the file played today.” No,” he said.

Accountant Jeong’s recordings are of conversations and calls he had with Mr. Kim in the past 2012-2014 and 2019-2020, and is considered to be the core evidence of the Daejang-dong incident.
