People’s Power presidential candidates, former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol and People’s Power Lawmaker Hong Jun-pyo, are competing within the margin of error with Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, in a virtual bilateral confrontation.
Today (18th), the Korea Social Opinion Institute (KSOI) announced the results of a poll conducted on 1003 people aged 18 and over nationwide for two days from the 15th to the 16th, commissioned by TBS.
According to the survey, in the virtual quantum confrontation, former President Yoon recorded 37.1%, an increase of 3.9 percentage points from the previous survey. This branch fell 0.4 percentage points to 35.4%.
The gap between the two candidates is 1.7 percentage points, which is within the margin of error. Those who supported other candidates were down 5.3 percentage points to 18.6%, those who did not see a suitable candidate increased by 3.1 percentage points to 7.7%, and those who did not know were 1.2 percentage points down to 1.1%.
In the virtual bilateral confrontation between Candidate Lee and Rep. Hong, there was also a close battle within the margin of error.
Rep. Hong recorded 35.9 percent, up 2.9 percentage points from last week’s survey, and candidate Lee dropped 1.4 percentage points to 34.6 percent. The gap is within the margin of error at 1.3 percentage points.
Those who supported other candidates dropped 3.7 percentage points to 18.9%, while those who said they did not find a suitable candidate rose by 2.7 percentage points to 9.0%. Respondents who were not sure were 1.4 percentage points down to 1.6%.
In a survey on the suitability of the next presidential candidate in the conservative right, the two-way structure of former President Yoon and Rep. Hong was revealed.
Former President Yoon was surveyed at 29.1 percent, up 3.6 percentage points from the previous survey, while Rep. Hong rose by 1.0 percentage point to 28.5 percent.
Behind the two candidates are former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min (11.7%, 1.2%p↑), former Jeju governor Won Hee-ryong (4.8%, 0.3%p↓), People’s Party Chairman Ahn Cheol-soo (3.4%, 0.7%p↓), and former Deputy Prime Minister Kim Dong-yeon ( 1.9%, 0.2%p↑).
Other candidates accounted for 5.4%, 12.2% for no suitable candidate, and 3.0% for don’t know.
