Pianist Yunchan Lim, who became the youngest winner of the Van Cliburn Competition in the US, will perform on the domestic stage in October with conductor Myung-Hoon Jeong and One Korea Orchestra.
The Lotte Foundation for Arts and Culture announced that they will hold a performance of ‘Myung-Hoon Jeong & One Korea Orchestra’, performed by Yun-Chan Lim, a pianist, at the Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa-Gu, Seoul on October 5th.
Lim Yun-chan plays Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 ‘The Emperor’ with conductor Myeong-hoon Jeong and One Korea Orchestra.
The ‘One Korea Orchestra’, created in 2017 for the purpose of inter-Korean exchanges, is a symphony orchestra that includes former and current members of domestic orchestras and performers from Korea who are active overseas. World-renowned conductor Myung-Hoon Jung took over as the music director.
In addition to ‘Emperor’, Myeong-Hoon Jeong and One Korea Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s 5th Symphony ‘Fate’ in this performance.
