Alappuzha: A seven-member gang hacked a youth to death in Poochakkal. The deceased has been identified as Vipin Lal, 37, of Rohini, Thycautserry. Sujith, one of the accused, was arrested.
There was an earlier dispute between the two factions over sending a bad message to the girl. According to the police, this was the reason for the murder.
