Yuki Tsunoda (Scuderia AlphaTauri) finished the final of the 2022 F1 Round 9 Canadian Grand Prix with a crash retirement.
Yuki Tsunoda, who started with medium tires from the last grid due to a PU exchange penalty, changed hard with the first virtual safety car and then continued to race on the DRS train with five cars in a row aiming for a prize.
However, immediately after changing to hard tires at the second pit stop, he made a mistake on turn 1 and plunged into the barrier from the front and retired. With this incident, a safety car entered the race.
Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing) retired on lap 9 due to a drivetrain problem. Mick Schumacher (Haas F1 Team) retired on lap 20 due to a PU problem. VSC is included at both timings.
