Makkah | Director of Public Security Saudi Lt. General Muhammad Al-Bassami said. An online platform project called ‘Sawahar’ is being launched to identify all pilgrims entering Makkah and the vehicles in which they travel. Al Bassami was speaking at the 22nd Scientific Forum for Hajj and Umrah Research held at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah.
Al Bassami said security patrols will include systems that detect wanted people when people and vehicles pass through the roads, analyze what is posted on social media platforms and connect with security command platforms.
