Zhang Yimou and his daughter co-directed “Sniper” on the first day of the new year

On November 22, the film “Sniper”, co-directed by Zhang Yimou and Zhang Mo, released a finalized poster. The poster took pictures of soldiers from eight groups and five groups to show the style of the Volunteer Army to resist US aggression and aid Korea. Faced with the cold winter and cruel battlefield, the soldiers dedicate their youth to the motherland. Under their smiling youthful faces is the sincere heart of defending their homeland.

This is Zhang Yimou’s first entry into the Spring Festival file since the movie. “Sniper” is the first domestic movie focusing on snipers to resist US aggression and aid Korea. It tells the heroic story of a desperate confrontation between the sniper and the enemy.

The film was set in Baishan, Jilin, and was shot in real ice and snow, only to present the story of the Chinese Volunteer Sniper Squad with the most texture, the most down-to-earth and sincerity, to show the true national heroism, and to reminisce with the audience the kind of forgetfulness of volunteer soldiers. Dead revolutionary heroism, revolutionary optimism not afraid of hardships and hardships, and revolutionary loyalty to generously dedicate everything to oneself. (Reporter Xiao Yang)
